Early voting takes place Oct. 5–Nov. 2. Absentee ballots must be requested by mail by Oct. 23. Ballots must be dropped off and received by election officials by the poll closing time on Nov. 3.
Registration
The deadline to register by mail or online to vote in Nebraska is Oct. 16. The deadline to register in person is 6 p.m. on Oct. 23. Check with the state election authority's website to find a local office near you to learn whether in-person registration is still available.
